Job Overview
Our Discrimination Department is one of the foremost in the region and has been growing for a number of years. We run a busy caseload of discrimination cases, from new instructions through to trial or settlement in the county court. The department provides a high‑quality, personal service and encourages marketing and business development. The role is based predominantly in the Lincoln office with flexibility for partial working from home after successful completion of a probationary period.
Responsibilities
* Manage all client work allocated by the Head of Department.
* Ensure client work progresses expeditiously and keep clients regularly informed on progress.
* Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.
* Achieve set performance targets.
* Ensure confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation.
* Maintain clear and precise communications with firm personnel.
* Foster good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
Experience Required
* Law Degree (or equivalent), LPC qualification or Legal Executive qualification.
* 2–4 years PQE as a solicitor or legal executive or equivalent experience in discrimination or personal injury/civil litigation.
* Excellent IT and case‑management skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Previous experience with case‑management systems is an advantage.
* Professional image and socially confident with good written and oral communication skills.
* Hardworking, able to meet tight deadlines.
