Overview
A great opportunity has been raised within Satair UK (an Airbus Service Company) to develop yourself and your career. This role is to lead and support our growing warehouse team near London Heathrow Airport. The right candidates will have a background in aviation logistics, warehouse operations, continuous improvement, high level quality awareness, 5S, and at least 3 years' experience of operations within a fast moving 24/7/365 environment.
Responsibilities
* Goods inspection of aircraft parts along with quality control and quarantine processes
* Storage, picking, packing and shipping of goods
* Data entry through computer systems for parts movement (inbound and outbound)
* Perpetual inventory / cycle count stock checking with data entry
* Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in support of operational functions
* Compliance with strict health and safety guidelines in a highly 5S driven warehouse environment
Working hours
Night shift patterns starting at 6pm to 6am, 4 on 4 off.
Knowledge and qualifications
* Knowledge of dangerous goods, known consignor, export control, health & safety
* Experience with VNA, counterbalance and reach truck forklift
* Preferably EASA Part 145 inspection
* A good knowledge of aerospace and aviation industry is useful but not essential
* Excellent service levels and ability to be coached and develop as part of an effective team to delight customers by commitment, quality and attention to detail
