Ob Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Head Office Port Glasgow
Salary: DOE
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will support the production of monthly management accounts and be a critical part of the day-to-day finance activities.
Duties:
* Revenue recognition
* Processing of month end journals such as payroll, accruals and prepayments
* Inter company charges and reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliation
* Bank reconciliation
* Support in annual external audit process
* Reconcile and submit quarterly VAT return
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register
* Maintain department budgets
* Assist with Annual Budget
* Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts reporting
* Assist and support Accounts Payable and Payroll process when required
* Continuous improvement of business processes via annual business initiatives
