Secondary Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our school community. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality education programmes. You will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver flexible and personalized education programmes for Key Stages 3 and 4 students
* Teach within the school's Nurture and Communication and Interaction base, in line with the school's development plan
* Plan and coordinate schemes of work within your area of expertise, aligning with national curriculum developments and individual EHCP targets
* Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding teaching practice and supporting the development of colleagues
* Ensure pupil progress, engagement, safety, and wellbeing are at the centre of all teaching
* Support whole-school initiatives and actively contribute to the wider life of the school
* Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals to support holistic development
Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching pupils working across EYFS to KS2 developmental levels, ideally within a secondary setting
* A thorough understanding of primary curriculum frameworks and strategies for supporting children with additional needs
* Proven ability to engage, inspire, and differentiate for pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs
* A commitment to promoting pupil voice, wellbeing, and safeguarding at all times
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive attitude
