Advanced Data Insights Analyst III (Marketing Analytics)

The Traveler Business Team at Expedia Group focuses on building and driving growth for our global consumer brands such as Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. This team develops strategies, manages investment priorities, and oversees P&L accountability, working collaboratively across the organization.
Role Overview
The Marketing Measurement Analytics team seeks a high-performing individual contributor responsible for maintaining and enhancing Marketing Mixed Model (MMM) operations. The role involves applying advanced analytics, best practices, and innovative processes to solve complex business challenges and uncover opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Extract and combine data from multiple sources for modeling and analysis.
2. Review and challenge MMM concepts and outputs using marketing and business knowledge.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify questions and improve feature selection.
4. Apply statistical techniques including regression, ANOVA, and A/B testing.
5. Design measurement approaches, interpret results, and refine models.
6. Guide and mentor colleagues on statistical methods.
7. Develop data models, create visualizations, and communicate findings effectively.
8. Build and optimize data pipelines, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
9. Write efficient, shareable code for data analysis and reporting.
10. Engage with stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Mathematics, Science, or related field (PhD, Masters, or Bachelors).
2. 7+ years of relevant experience or 4+ years in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in R, Python, or SQL for data analysis and visualization.
4. Experience with MMM and incrementality testing.
5. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals.
