Shoezone has an opportunity for a Store Manager to join our team based in Watford. You will work full‑time (37.5 hours) on a permanent basis and receive a competitive salary.
We are a town centre, retail park and digital footwear retailer offering low price and high‑quality footwear for the whole family, with free next‑day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. We operate from 270 stores and have approximately 2,200 employees across the UK.
The Store Manager Role
As a Store Manager you will be responsible for the running of your store, leading from the front in a fast‑paced environment, maximizing sales, exceeding budget targets, controlling costs, promoting top‑class customer service, and developing and inspiring your team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Directly responsible for achieving optimum sales through commerciality, ensuring excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.
* Actively support, develop and mentor your team to maintain high standards and deliver the best customer experience and repeat business.
* Take ownership of the store by consistently maintaining standards and commerciality, ensuring merchandise is aligned to marketing guidelines, and housekeeping is at a high standard.
* Provide a safe environment for your team and customers by implementing current health and safety policies.
