Job Introduction The automotive industry is undergoing its biggest transformation, moving from a product to service centred approach. Mercedes is determined to be at the forefront of this transformation, revolutionising every step of the customers journey with the onsite dealership at its heart.
The service care plan specialist is accountable for the sales and renewal of service care plans for both new and used cars in line with the manufacture’s schemes and objectives. This role focuses on use of multi communication channels such as telephone, email, and web/live chat to help support in the renewals and sales of care packages.
Main Responsibilities
13. Achieve sales objectives for service care plans for new cars and post service contracts
14. Use telephone, email/ web apps, and all digital avenues both inbound and outbound to maximise service car plans sales
15. Work in conjunction with the Inchcape Mercedes Benz call centre and individual sites to achieve the required objectives
16. Deliver class leading customer satisfaction, in line with the Mercedes Benz brand and Inchcape metrics
17. Complete and adhere to all the required compliance and legislative requirements, Data Protection, Trading Standards, Motor Law training, in addition to all Inchcape and OEM training requirements and compliance protocols. Always treat customers fairly
18. Be confident in handling any customer queries or challenges and act with honesty and integrity by delivering exceptional customer service
The Ideal Candidate
19. Be customer focused and will make sure they are at the forefront of everything
20. Have the ability and confidence to talk about products and services with the aim of completing sales targets
21. You will be someone who can communicate effectively via numerous channels including phone, email and webchat etc
22. Be IT alliterate with the ability to use multiple systems at once
23. To be our voice, communicating and focusing on customers whilst delivering the best possible knowledge and prospects
24. Ability to problem solve and think on their feet
25. Be able to develop and maintain a good understanding of the brand, their products and processes to provide customers with sound information and advice
26. You will be compliant with group policy and our regulatory regime at all times
27. People focused and be a real team player who helps create an environment in which their team can thrive and perform
28. Would be suitable for someone who is an Sales Executive or Customer Service Advisor but this is not essential as full training is given.
