Our a leading construction consultancy firm and they are currently looking to recruit a Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager into their thriving team in Belfast.

In this role you will be instrumental in providing expert cost advice and commercial leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to completion. Your role will involve strategic cost planning, detailed estimation, robust procurement strategy development, and diligent contract administration for a diverse portfolio of infrastructure schemes.
They are looking for a proactive individual with a proven track record in complex infrastructure projects, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills. Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience as a Cost Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor, specifically working on infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, rail, water, energy, public utilities).
* Demonstrable expertise in cost planning, budget management, value engineering, and risk management.
* Strong understanding and experience with various forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools.
* A strong analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
* Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, SCSI) is highly desirable.
