The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team and be committed to providing the best quality catering service to patients and staff within the Trust.
To share learned best practices with others in developing catering services as changes are made over time, allowing the department and individuals to react to changing needs.

The role involves working within a team to deliver high-quality catering services, sharing best practices, and adapting to evolving requirements.
Department working hours are predominantly between :am to, which will involve some weekend work and various shift patterns including early and late shifts as the service requires. The pay rate will increase for all hours worked on a Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.
You must have good communication skills, as you will be working within the kitchen and serving food at ward level. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work flexibly and on own initiative. The role involves travelling to other sites to cover shifts.
You will hold a current level food hygiene certificate or be willing to work towards this qualification. Catering experience is essential for this post.
This post is a permanent contract.
