We are searching for a Parts & Aftersales advisor to join a growing team at a reputable garden machinery distribution company based in Swindon.
This role will start following successful interview.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist customers over the phone, and online with parts inquiries.
2. Identify and recommend the correct parts based on customer needs.
3. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
4. Upsell additional products and services when appropriate.
5. Handle customer complaints and returns professionally.
6. Process sales transactions using our premier stock system.
7. Prepare invoices, quotes, and purchase orders.
8. Coordinate with suppliers and service technicians for part orders
Requirements:
9. Experience in lawnmower, garden machinery, or automotive parts sales (preferred).
10. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
11. Ability to use parts lookup software and online catalogues.
12. Basic computer skills (MS Office).
13. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Hours
14. Monday to Friday working alternating shifts
15. Week 1 – 08:00-16:30, Week 2 08:30-17:00
16. £25,000-£28,000 DOE
For the successful candidate in this field, there are progression opportunities within the department. This role will suit candidates looking for a new career path with previous experience in customer service/parts advising. Full training is provided in this position. A technical background in small engines, lawn equipment or mechanics is preferred but not essential. This also includes a background in a similar role.
