As our ESG Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of clients, guiding them through the ESG process and supporting them to achieve compliance and certification. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of our sustainability services, ensuring DEKRA remains at the forefront of ESG delivery.
* Act as a subject matter expert for all aspects of ESG.
* Support clients through the ESG process to compliance/certification.
* Identify opportunities to improve and expand our sustainability service offerings.
* Advise clients on EcoVadis improvement programmes and implement sustainable changes.
* Support supplier chain risk management (SCRM) assessments where needed.
* Keep up to date with UK legislation, industry trends, competition, and best practices.
* Ensure all activities align with DEKRA's quality and environmental management standards.
Qualifications:
* A degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related discipline.
* At least 2 years of commercial or customer-facing experience in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG.
* Strong working knowledge of ESG frameworks, legislation, and industry best practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise, influence, and build client relationships.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable experience includes:
* Consultancy or auditing background.
* Experience with EcoVadis or similar sustainability assessment platforms.
* Knowledge of environmental risk assessments, ESG due diligence, carbon footprinting, or EHS frameworks.
* Professional certification in sustainability or ESG.
