Amazing opportunity to join a multi site service group at a time of transformation for a period of 12 months. Manage a small team of professional accountants. Reporting to the CFO this role is totally office based in Croydon.
Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller Role:-
* To manage, motivate and develop a small dynamic team
* Review and improve processes and procedures to streamline the month end close
* Financial reporting and overseeing the transactional team
* Consolidations and inter company
* Cashflow management and control
* Liaising with the IT department on improving systems and procedures
* Working on rolling out the new accounts systems across the group and making sure the transition is seamless
* Year end statutory accounts, liaise with HMRC and resolve any queries
* VAT and corporate tax
* Working closely with the auditors
Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:-
* Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
* Systems implementation experience in a multi site group
* ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified
* Excellent communication skills
* Happy to work 5 days in the office
