Role Purpose To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being in line with the values of Vybrant Care Services. Key Responsibilities Personal Care & Support Assist with personal care needs including washing, dressing, grooming, and continence support. Support with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment. Assist with medication administration in accordance with policies and procedures. Daily Living Support Help with meal preparation, feeding, hydration, and maintaining a balanced diet. Support with household tasks including light cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Assist with appointments, community access, and maintaining social engagement. Health & Safety Follow infection control and safeguarding procedures at all times. Report concerns, risks, or changes in service users’ conditions promptly. Maintain accurate care records and communication logs. Emotional & Social Support Provide companionship and reassurance to reduce isolation and promote well-being. Encourage independence and choice in daily activities. Respect confidentiality, diversity, and cultural needs of service users. Essential Requirements Previous experience in domiciliary care or a strong passion for supporting people. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently. Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required. Ability to follow care plans and policies. Desirable NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards). Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
