The Role: Housing Plus Officer
Based in Housing Plus schemes, or providing support in the community, you will support vulnerable people (including older people and people with learning disabilities), support independent living, and create positive and vibrant communal living spaces. You will help reduce social isolation, by developing community networks and providing low level person-centred support as well as working with a range of partners. You will have responsibility for the building and complying with health and safety requirements. You will have responsibility for managing tenancies and applying the conditions in the Tenancy Agreement, including addressing breaches.
The Person: Are you passionate about working with older, vulnerable people, and people with complex needs? Do you have great communication skills, and an understanding of how good housing support can enhance customer's lives? Are you self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer focussed? Can you deal with challenging situations? Can you manage a scheme building, ensuring the health and safety of you, residents, and visitors?
