Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:
* We are looking for candidates who have a solid understanding of MS SQL Server, Oracle, or other database concepts gained through studies or work experience. You should have knowledge of building, maintaining, and querying SQL databases in MS SQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. Experience in ensuring database integrity within complex multi-project environments is essential. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to design database objects for efficient storage and performance and have expertise in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and DML. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is also required. Strong organizational and documentation skills are important, as is the ability to write clear requirement and specification documents. We value self-motivated individuals who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, I will expect you to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain SQL databases. You will write SQL queries, views, procedures, and triggers for integration with other applications and create comprehensive documentation for the databases you develop. Collaboration with colleagues across the organization will be key, as well as maintaining and developing your expertise in database technologies. You will also contribute to the administration of our databases to ensure optimal performance and usability.
