The team The Studios UK Finance Hub is a newly established team supporting the financial management of ITV Studios’ UK production labels. The team works closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders across the business to deliver clear financial insight, robust reporting and reliable forecasting that supports decision-making. Operating in a fast-paced production environment, the team plays a key role in ensuring revenue and cost of sales reporting is accurate, timely and aligned to the needs of the business. There is a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality financial analysis that supports the success of ITV Studios. The role We’re looking for a Finance Analyst – Revenue & Cost of Sales to join the Studios UK Finance Hub on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst, you will support the delivery of accurate reporting, forecasting and analysis across revenue, gross margin and development spend for ITV Studios UK. This role combines financial reporting with commercial insight, working closely with Finance Business Partners and FP&A leads to ensure the business has clear visibility of financial performance. You’ll support planning cycles, help prepare management information and play a key role in ensuring revenue and cost of sales data is accurately recorded and analysed. Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include: Producing high-quality management information and analysis to support Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, preparing actuals, forecasts and budgets for Divisional FP&A and business reviews Preparing revenue and cost of sales data during month-end close, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with IFRS 15 Updating financial planning systems with actuals and working with FP&A leads to maintain forecasts Tracking development spend against plan and providing insight into variances Preparing billing and processing related third-party payments in a structured and timely manner Supporting reporting on secondary revenue streams and ensuring accurate recognition and forecasting Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and data quality across the finance hub Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria) Previous experience in a Finance Analyst or similar role Understanding of key accounting concepts, including revenue recognition Experience analysing financial and operational data from multiple sources Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience Other things we’re looking for (key criteria) Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and underlying issues Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines A proactive and detail-oriented approach to financial reporting and analysis Confident working with large datasets and financial systems Strong Excel and Google Suite skills A collaborative team player able to build relationships across different levels of the business Results-driven with a focus on delivering accurate and meaningful insights Interest in improving processes and enhancing financial reporting Please note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date.
