Providing management to a cross-functional team of matrix employees, the Account Manager will be directly responsible for driving market growth for medical-grade inhaled products through the building of strategic relationships with respiratory pharmaceutical manufacturers, managing and maintaining customer contracts, and collaborating withing a high-performing team to drive business growth for an emerging market. This role will manage and grow marketplace opportunities in the vertical, manage sales pursuits, support internal processes, and form strategic relationships with key pharma industry players. The Account Manager will be instrumental in building pharma industry competencies to the cross-functional teams. This position will report to the GM of Medical Propellants and will actively contribute to overall strategic planning for Inhaled Products and leverage Foam and Industrial Products (FIP) assets across all businesses and manage Honeywell's overall market positioning. Responsibilities Be the key interfacing partner representing Honeywell to each Medical Propellant customer on a global scale, managing relationships from c-suite executive level to technical managers Own and manage relationship and points of contact with established Medical Propellant customers (commercial, technical, regulatory, etc.) and manage alignment on strategic collaborative initiatives Coordinate and triage customer needs regarding technical services, regulatory support and business reviews Oversee timely delivery to customers including purchase order facilitation, payments and customs clearance Own and manage commercial contracts and NDAs, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations of each customer Oversee cross-company collaborative initiatives among teams (technical research, collaborative conference presence, joint messaging, regulatory support) Align and internally track and report on customer journey - product timelining and rolling annual demand forecasts for samples and commercial supply of propellant Work with Business Development Manager and technical team to develop and execute on customer samples planning and delivery Work with production facility to develop annual plan and coordination of shipments of commercial (isotainer) volumes of propellant for each established customer Collaborate with Market Development team to generate customer and market analytics for the business Coordinate customer site visits and customer audits at R&D and production facilities Establish and maintain long-term Medical Propellant demand forecast Collaborate with Marked Development Manager on Voice of Customer insights to educate team on customer needs Manage and coordinate with individual customers on pricing Manage and facilitate annual customer business reviews and forecast planning and reporting Qualification Bachelor's degree Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, marketing and/or business development Ability to travel internationally 20-30% of the year Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceuticals materials, and/or medical devices An ability to forge strategic relationships at the senior-executive level A Strategic and collaborative mindset Proven track record in contract management, business development, sales and/or account management Knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical industry High-level understanding of regulatory and clinical development within pharma environment as it pertains to pharma brand strategy and growth/development Commercial experience in inhaled applications/medical devices, asthma, and/or COPD Experience in intellectual property and contract/NDA negotiations Customer-driven with an understanding of value-selling and insights generation Excellent communication skills A naturally curious growth mindset Demonstrated analytical, planning and problem-solving skills MBA, advanced business or clinical degree preferred We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity within our company.
