Right now, we are on the lookout for a Senior SUMH (Substance Use Mental Health) Nurse (RMN) to join our Wakefield Integrated Substance Use Service. Main Responsibilities
* Develop mental health knowledge and foster connections between community teams and external partners.
* Support case advocacy and incident escalation in collaboration with our Principal Clinical Psychologist.
* Engage in complex case meetings to discuss young people and adults with intricate needs.
* Advocate for clients and ensure high standards of care through effective partnerships.
* Contribute to shaping service delivery and delivering clinically excellent services.
The Ideal Candidate
You must be a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. As part of our team, you will have access to RCNi for revalidation, indemnity insurance, and ongoing support from the nurse manager and clinical lead.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of Substance Use and experience working with adults or young people in a mental health setting. We are looking for a nurse who thrives on connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, possesses a genuine interest in helping others, and demonstrates empathy, understanding, and patience.
Driving is essential to be eligible for this role.
