Governance Manager
to join our management team and lead our governance processes with a view to quality improvement.
This Is a Key Role, Providing Oversight Of
* Significant event analysis and learning
* Complaints investigation and reporting
* Safeguarding administration processes
* Legal and regulatory compliance
* Information governance and GDPR
* Consistency of practice systems and processes
* Oversight of our Patient Participation Group
The postholder will supportively line-manage our Safeguarding Team and our Governance and Patient Liaison Officer, who manages day-to-day complaints handling, significant event meetings, and PPG administration, and will work closely with the senior management team to embed governance into everyday practice.
We Are Looking For Someone With
* Strong experience in governance, compliance, or risk management (NHS or related sector desirable)
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and support colleagues at all levels
* Knowledge of information governance and GDPR requirements
