The Opportunity:
* This is a full fee-earning role with a genuine opportunity for autonomy. Youll take full ownership of your own caseload, managing complex Court of Protection matters and meeting clear billing targets all with the support of a collaborative and experienced team behind you.
* Youll be working closely with vulnerable individuals, families, and external professionals, managing their affairs with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. This is a chance to make a real difference while building a career in a firm that rewards initiative and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing your own Court of Protection caseload from start to finish
* Meeting agreed billing and time-recording targets
* Preparing Deputyship and statutory applications
* Liaising directly with clients, attorneys, care providers, and families
* Handling day-to-day financial matters including budgeting, payments, and care fees
* Conducting client visits where needed (a full UK driving licence and business insurance are required)
* Preparing reports and ensuring full compliance with OPG standards
* Representing the department externally and contributing to its continued growth
What Were Looking For
Essential
* Experience running your own caseload in a fee-earning capacity
* Strong billing record and ability to meet performance targets
* Solid understanding of Court of Protection or Private Client law
* High levels of self-motivation, independence, and organisation
* Compassionate and confident when dealing with vulnerable clients
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficient with case management systems and IT
Desirable
* Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
* Familiarity with SOS Connect or similar CMS
* Knowledge of compliance and data protection best practices
