FRCS (SN) or equivalent / post CCT fellowship
Full GMC registration
Responsibilities
Provide patient care on the wards, in the theatres and at out‑patient clinics as appropriate to the grade of the post and under the direction of the supervising consultants.
Operate in operating sessions and attend ward rounds and routine ward work.
Attend out‑patient clinics and participate in the Movement Disorder/Pain programme.
Contribute to the assessment of junior colleagues and familiarize with the assessment process used in the ISCP.
Provide on‑call coverage as per the two‑tier rota.
May be required to rotate to another unit in the future.
Additional Information
Fellowship will be based at West Wing, John Radcliffe Hospital with occasional visits to peripheral outpatient clinics in the region. Specific training will be made available from the Postgraduate Centre.
