Job description
This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality IT services to end users, ensuring minimal service disruption and managing key third-party service providers. This is a permanent position requiring both office-based and remote work, with occasional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate to ensure secure, stable, and resilient IT platforms.
2. Ensure that new functionalities introduced as part of Project Change are included in the service catalogue.
3. Oversee day-to-day operations of business applications, ensuring high performance and accurate reporting.
4. Develop, maintain, and enhance all reporting and KPI monitoring of ICT products and services provided by our IT supplier, including cybersecurity.
5. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team on rolling out new services, policies, and procedures across the company and IT estate.
6. Maintain effective working relationships across the Group to optimise service delivery and leverage knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements:
7. Experience in IT service management, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
8. Proficiency in IT Service Desk operations and management.
9. Strong understanding of IT Service Management principles.
10. Experience in managing third-party IT service providers and vendors.
11. Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and external stakeholders.
12. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
13. Experience with cybersecurity management is advantageous.
