Monday - Friday, 05:30AM start time (40 hours PW)
As a Distribution Shift Manager, you will lead the overall success of your shift, ensuring all transport standards, budgets, and targets are met. Managing a team of 100‑170 people, you’ll keep everyone motivated, engaged and on‑task—ensuring our products are expertly and efficiently delivered to our valuable customers. Office‑based, with occasional visits to our multi‑temperature warehouse, you’ll oversee everything from cage location to transport cost budgets and individual personal development, and course‑correct plans based on changing information.
What you bring to the mix
* Experience leading a team and driving performance.
* Using data insights, trends, and team input to improve department processes.
* Prioritising customer needs to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
* Understanding of DVLA regulations that may impact drivers.
* The ability to drive change by influencing others to see the bigger picture.
* Multiple stakeholder management skills that drive a culture of two‑way feedback.
* Experience using Microsoft Office, SAP and transport systems (Verizon, Convey, Roadnet, Samsara).
* CPC or the willingness to acquire CPC within your first year.
