Baxter are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team within our manufacturing division at our Thetford plant. You will be responsible for loading finished goods on site, processing accordingly, and other general Warehouse duties, working proactively as part of a cross functional team. This role is shifts between 6am - 6pm Week 1 – Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun & 6am - 6pm Week 2 – Wed, Thu. You will receive a salary of £26.666.64 whilst training. Once training is complete your salary will increase to £27,040.71 and you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of £64.78.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. To receive and book in raw materials
2. Locate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as required
3. Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch
4. To support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties
5. Being able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas to support the business
6. Being able to work on their own initiative as and when required
7. To assist routine blind count audits
8. To perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure they are kept clean at all times
9. Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirement
10. Provide cover for colleagues
11. To notify Quality assurance and the Process Leading hands of any deviations from the process
12. Placing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production
13. Replenish Stock locations when needed
Essential experience
14. Computer Skills – Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
15. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
16. Punctual with good attendance
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Well organised and task driven
19. Able to work in a GMP environment
20. Quality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail
21. Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work co-operatively and supportively in order to solve problems and achieve team targets
22. Maintains high standards of behaviour whilst managing workload
23. Process Orientated - must follow set standards and ways of working
24. Flexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the business
25. Ability to remain calm in a fast paced environment
Desired experience
Forklift experience would be great but we have in house training for this
