Contract Personnel are currently recruiting Production Operatives based in the Norwich area. This is an excellent ongoing opportunity that may lead to a permanent role.

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Production Operative to assist with the fabrication of windows in a busy manufacturing environment. You will support the production team in assembling, preparing, and finishing a range of window products, ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the process.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Assist in the assembly and fabrication of aluminium, uPVC, or timber windows (depending on company products).
* Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, drill, and assemble window components.
* Fit gaskets, locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware to window frames.
* Check components for quality and accuracy before and after assembly.
* Follow job specifications, technical drawings, and production instructions.
* Maintain a clean and safe working area and follow all health and safety procedures.
* Assist in loading/unloading materials or finished products as required.
* Any other duties as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or window fabrication environment is preferred but not essential – full training provided.
* Good practical skills and confident using hand/power tools.
* Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
* Able to follow instructions and work to technical specifications.
* Physically fit – able to stand for long periods and lift window components.
Shift pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* 15:00 - 00:00
