Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Leader with strong technical coding skills and team leadership experience. We would like experience with React, React Native, or Python. We need someone comfortable leading a cross-functional software team and taking ownership of software delivery. We are looking for someone who can guide teams through complex technical decisions and promote high engineering standards. We value experience in coaching engineers, giving regular feedback, and supporting clear progression plans. We may require you to pass an enhanced security vetting process. This role may involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7). Sponsorship is not available for this role. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to own software delivery end to end across the full software lifecycle. You will lead a cross-functional team building secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will stay close to the code while providing hands-on technical leadership. You will steer engineers through complex technical decisions. You will promote engineering quality through code reviews, automation, and best practices. You will help ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and well supported. You will support engineers through coaching, regular feedback, and progression planning. You will collaborate with other Software Engineering Team Leaders to share learning and improve ways of working. You will contribute to strengthening engineering standards across the wider team.
