Finatal is working with a fast-growing, PE-backed multi-site business that has recently reached revenues of around £525m. With international operations and strong momentum, the company is set to expand further over the next 5–10 years through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
They are now looking to appoint a UK Finance Director to support the next stage of their growth journey. Reporting to the Group CFO, the UK FD will be a key member of the UK leadership team, responsible for accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust systems and controls, and leading business-as-usual finance operations. A major focus will be on modernising finance processes, including systems upgrades and the implementation of shared services. The role will work closely with central functions to drive efficiency and integrate finance activities where appropriate.
The Responsibilities
* Ensure timely and accurate financial submissions to meet Group reporting standards, aligned with public interest entity requirements.
* Maintain high levels of reporting discipline in line with listed bond obligations.
* Lead UK budgeting and forecasting cycles, including P&L, cashflow and balance sheet planning.
* Ensure realistic assumptions, contingency planning, and Board-ready presentation materials.
* Oversee financial controls across all UK finance operations including AP, payroll and cash.
* Ensure compliance, cost control, audit readiness and fraud protection across the function.
* Ensure rigorous evaluation and tracking of new and ongoing capital investments.
* Work with operations and property teams to support decision-making and ROI analysis.
* Deliver consistent, insight-driven reporting to support daily, weekly and monthly performance reviews.
* Ensure reporting frameworks drive action and performance across key metrics.
* Support the CFO and Efficiency Director in developing Group-wide shared services and systems.
* Drive alignment and efficiencies that contribute to long-term EBITDA growth.

* Experience in multi-site retail, leisure, or property-heavy businesses
