Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team in Bristol, supporting nurseries across the city and surrounding areas, providing high-quality childcare and education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily routines, learning activities, and structured play, contributing to the development of children in a professional nursery setting. Key Responsibilities
Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to thrive, supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Assisting with daily routines, learning activities, and structured play to support children’s development, including planning and implementing activities to support the Early Years curriculum
Building positive relationships with children, nursery staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare, providing effective communication and support
Contributing to the planning and implementation of activities to support the Early Years curriculum, including outdoor play, arts, and crafts, and sensory activities
Required Skills & Experience
Genuine passion for childcare and Early Years education, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support
Empathy and a proactive, positive attitude towards working with children, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
