We are currently looking for a stainless-steel fabricator to join us in Heywood working within a growing team. Whats included Annual salary up to £36,000 Overtime at enhanced rates Hours are Monday Thursday 7am 3.30pm and Friday 7am 1pm Annual bonus based on company performance. Annual holidays 24 days plus bank holidays Company sick pay scheme Shopping & Leisure discounts scheme Simply Health cash back plan Credit Union Death in service benefit Your role includes: Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Undertaking light gauge fabrication work using stainless steel. Thickness ranging from 1.0mm to 4.00mm, as part of the production of a range of Fume Cupboards, Isolators, Enclosures and Framework. TIG Welding - Standard TIG test to be completed as part of the application process. 3-4 Years minimum experience within sheet metal, welding, and assembly. Experience in pharmaceutical and food industry fabrication beneficial. Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience Time served Sheet metal worker. Proven experience in the trade. Excellent TIG Welding skills. Polishing experience is preferable but not essential. MIG Welding experience also preferable but not essential. An ability to fabricate/weld to technical drawings and acceptable tolerances. Experience in working in a fast-moving manufacturing business. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
