We are seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Essex. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering outstanding financial services, ensuring our clients achieve their business goals through sound financial management.
Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Utilise accounting software such as Sage and Xero for efficient financial reporting.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and deliver tailored solutions.
* Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support client planning.
* Preparing personal tax returns
* Bookkeeping and VAT Returns
* Preparing management accounts
* Payroll & Pensions
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Semi-Senior Accountant or similar role within the accountancy sector.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
* In-depth knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
* Studying towards or achieved AAT Level 4
