 
        
        Morson Talent are currently looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our client on Sizewell B power station.
Reporting to the Client Project Controls Group Head, PPM and/or Operations Manager, you'll play a critical part in the planning and delivery of complex, high-value workstreams-ensuring project controls meet the stringent standards and requirements of EDF Generation.

Key Responsibilities
 * Develop and manage project schedules incorporating risk, change, resource and cost.
 * Create and maintain project plans across the full lifecycle, including early development and design stages.
 * Support delivery of the client's ALR2 commitments within the Nuclear Defueling team.
 * Establish and monitor a cost and resource-loaded, logic-linked baseline plan.
 * Capture project budgets and phasing to support investment decisions.
 * Develop robust Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Project Control Structures (PCS).
 * Integrate third-party schedules and data into the master schedule.
 * Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels, producing intelligent analysis and monthly reporting.
 * Ensure schedules are aligned with client processes, templates, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
 * Minimum HNC/HND, ideally in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
 * Proven experience across the full project and programme lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
 * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the latest version of Primavera P6.
 * Demonstrated ability to lead planning efforts in highly regulated industries (ideally nuclear or energy).
 * Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a team-oriented and results-driven approach.
 * Experience in risk and change management in large capital infrastructure projects.
