Role Description
This is a full-time remote employee role for a Virtual Legal Assistant who is based in the UK. The Virtual Legal Assistant will handle administrative tasks and ensure accurate and timely communication between clients and legal professionals.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining case files
* Assisting with legal research
* Scheduling meetings and appointments
* Supporting attorneys in ensuring compliance with internal document processing procedures and deadlines
Qualifications
* Knowledge and understanding of law and legal assistant responsibilities
* Familiarity with legal terminology
* Proficiency in administrative assistance, including:
* Scheduling and file management
* Microsoft Word and Excel
* Google Docs
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual environment
* Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role at a law firm or legal services company is required (minimum 2 years’ experience)
Salary
Competitive. To be discussed based on experience and qualifications. Can offer role as a full time employee with holiday pay etc. (if based in UK) or can contract with freelancers (if based in Europe).
