This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive Learning Support Team and work with others committed to improving attainment levels for all students within the school. Our Teaching Assistants support students to access their learning both within lessons and within our Enhanced Resource Centre (ERC) and Positive Outcomes Department (POD).
Applicants will be able to demonstrate their ability to engage children and young people in their learning in an educational setting or similar and will be able to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of how students with SEND, including ASD and Autism, can be successfully supported in mainstream educational settings.
Successful applicants will be professional, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering high quality teaching and educational support. They will have strong communication skills with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues, leaders, parents / carers, and students, and will be able to work cooperatively and effectively within a team of teaching assistants. They will be motivated and resilient, and able to demonstrate the skills required to engage students in their learning and extracurricular activities.
