Location: Telford
Shifts: Double Days (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £46,000 + Shift Allowance
The Role
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of site facilities and utilities, ensuring smooth operations across the plant. You will also manage contractors and support continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and service site systems including:
* CCTV, door access & barriers
* Fire alarms, boilers & HVAC systems
* Compressors, chillers & water treatment plants
* Lighting, drainage & building fabric
* Manage contractors for cleaning, maintenance, and specialist services.
* Support preventative maintenance programmes.
* Uphold and promote HSE policies across site.
What We’re Looking For
* Hands-on engineering experience in facilities/maintenance.
* Time-served Maintenance Engineer or Electrician.
* Strong contractor management skills.
* Knowledge of CMMS, ISO 14001, CHP/generators (advantageous).
* Self-starter with problem-solving ability and a proactive “can-do” approach.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
