An established and growing engineering and manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its quality team due to continued expansion and increased project demand. The company operates within a fabrication:focused environment, supporting a diverse client base across multiple sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Technician to join a busy production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that materials, components, and finished products meet required standards prior to dispatch.
Responsibilities
* Inspect materials, components, and finished products against drawings and specifications
* Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and procedures
* Review and compile quality documentation, including inspection and traceability records
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
* Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience
* Previous experience in a quality inspection role within engineering or manufacturing
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers)
* Understanding of quality systems and documentation
