Create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as required. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment. Required Qualifications: Hold relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, QTS). Demonstrate expertise in delivering English and Maths functional skills education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Experience: Proven experience in teaching English and Maths functional skills to diverse student groups. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK education system and curriculum. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) or adult education. Experience using technology in the classroom to enhance learning. Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, primarily in a learners home. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student needs.
