Shift Pattern: Pitman Shift (Days & Nights)
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We are seeking a proactive and motivated engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
* Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
* Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.
* Support continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
* Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.
* Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Multi-skilled engineering background with both electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
* Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, or automated production environment.
* Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
