Job Description:
Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE.
The Company
Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions, with a strong presence and brand recognition in the off-grid power industry. They serve clients worldwide across various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utilities.
This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, and export markets in Africa and Asia.
* Manage P&L, financial reports, business plans, and achieve targets in revenue, margins, market share, and after-sales.
* Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket services for spare parts and maintenance.
* Lead the business unit team through recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
* Develop and lead channel/distribution partnerships for export to Africa and Asia.
The Successful Applicant
* 10+ years of senior management experience in mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
* Proven experience in Middle East and African markets; experience in international power/renewable energy companies is advantageous.
* Full P&L management experience.
* Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus but not essential.
* Willing to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
* Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
* Experience in renewables (solar/battery-hybrid solutions) or gas generators is beneficial.
