Overview
Seasonal Sales Assistant role at Astbury Business Consulting (stores based at Broughton Park). This is a temporary, part-time position. You will be contracted to 8 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during December. If successful, your temporary contract will start from Sunday 2 November 2025 and run until Saturday 3 January 2026.
The Role
Sales Assistants are the heartbeat of our business. You will be enthusiastic about showcasing our diverse products and delivering exceptional service to create the best shopping experience for our guests and to offer the best experience on the high street. You will be involved in helping customers by understanding their needs, presenting products with style, and pairing items as part of complete sets and add-ons. From day one you will receive in-depth product training, including fabric and weather durability, product care and best-matched companions, helping you become a well-rounded FOOTASYLUM Ambassador.
Be the go-to for customer questions, resolve issues, and ensure customers are genuinely cared for. You will also work with your team to hit store targets and maintain a clean, inviting store environment.
About You
Don’t worry too much about previous experience. We are looking for outgoing, friendly, organized and can-do individuals who are positive and approachable. You should be comfortable approaching customers and starting engaging conversations.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
* Provide excellent service to make customers feel valued and ensure they leave with a great impression of the shop.
* Become a PRO on all products and help customers make choices that suit their needs and preferences.
* Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers.
* Collaborate with colleagues to hit store targets and maintain a positive, engaging shop floor.
* Keep the store clean, organized and visually appealing.
* Engage in training sessions to grow both personally and professionally.
* Stay up to date with current trends and product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
* Handle transactions with a smile and ensure purchases are a positive shopping experience.
