Design and Technology Teacher – Secondary SchoolAre you a creative and passionate Design and Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school? This successful secondary school in Shrewsbury is looking to appoint a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join their department.As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering lessons that challenge and motivate learners while making full use of the school's excellent specialist facilities.The school is known for its positive learning environment, supportive leadership team and strong staff culture. With good behaviour across the school, teachers are able to focus on delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent outcomes for students.This role would suit an experienced Design and Technology Teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive and well-resourced school.Job Role:

• Teaching Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning and delivering engaging and practical lessons
• Inspiring students to develop creativity and technical skills
• Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress
• Creating a positive and productive classroom environment
• Making effective use of specialist equipment and facilities
• Contributing to the wider life of the department and school
• Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
