Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Good standard of general education including numeracy and literacy GCSE
2. Completion of the National Care Certificate
Desirable criteria
3. NVQ level 3 in care
Experience
Essential criteria
4. Experience working with patients as a HCSW
5. Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
6. Experience working with with elderly patients
Technical skills
Essential criteria
7. Willingness to undertake venepuncture and cannulation
8. Willingness to take ECGs
Knowledge
Essential criteria
9. Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional
