About Us
Learn Active Coaching CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving health, confidence, and social mobility through physical activity, mentoring, and well-being programmes.
We are looking for a Physical Activity and Well-being Co-ordinator (freelance) to deliver engaging and inclusive sessions for:
* Young adults with disabilities
* Adults aged 50+
* People who are unemployed or facing barriers to social mobility
Alongside session delivery, you will:
* Build partnerships with local organisations and services
* Promote our health and well-being programmes in the community
* Record outcomes and data to measure impact
Some tasks (such as admin and monitoring) can be completed remotely as part of hybrid working.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in delivering physical activity, fitness and well-being sessions
* Confident working with people with disabilities, older adults, and vulnerable groups
* Motivating, approachable and community-minded
* Organised and comfortable working independently
* Flexible to work across different community settings and different parts of the city.
Desirable:
* Background in delivering sessions to our key groups
* Relevant qualifications (sports coaching, fitness, health, or community well-being)
* First Aid qualification
* Safeguarding qualification
What We Offer
* Freelance contract – 18 hours per week across 3 days (flexible)
* £14–£16 per hour
