Job Summary
NG Bailey are recruiting an Apprentice Industrial Heating and Plumbing Engineer. You’ll work with experienced engineers and fabricators, learning how modular mechanical systems are built from scratch in a safe, modern factory.

You’ll attend Leeds College of Building on block release to complete the Level 3 Building Services Engineering Craftsperson Apprenticeship. You’ll also take part in regular in-house training and development throughout the programme.
This role is based at: Unit A, Kingsmark Freeway
Oakenshaw, Bradford, BD12 7HW.

Main Responsibilities
• Install and assemble mechanical pipework systems for heating, cooling and ventilation.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings and build instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to build and test mechanical systems to quality standards.
• Work safely in a busy manufacturing environment and help build packaged units for construction sites.
• Take part in on-site training and shadowing at different locations to gain full, hands-on experience.
Essential Skills
• Able to complete the apprenticeship on time, including the End-Point Assessment.
• Must have valid residency status and the right to work in England.
• Must have lived in the UK (or its territories) for at least 3 years before starting.
• Must have 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English, Maths and Science.
