Overview:

As a Trainee Drainage Engineer, you will:
* Learn how to be proficient in basic drainage works
* Be educated in identifying common causes of drainage issues
* Assist in emergency response situations
* Be trained to operate high-pressure water jetting equipment
* Support our Surveying Engineers to complete CCTV sewer inspections identifying structural defects, learning how to code and create reports for customers using the latest camera systems.
* Support our Repairs Teams on Dig & No Dig repairs, learning patch & lining techniques, to full excavations to repair or replace damaged drainage systems.
* Undertake a program of training in Health & Safety, CSCS, Confined Space, First Aid, EURS plus many other opportunities.
As an Experienced Jetting & Surveying Engineer / Repairs Engineer, you will:
* Already have what it takes to jump on board straight away to strengthen our Team
* Have as a minimum of 2 years' experience in the industry
* Hold a HPWJ cert with at least 1 year remaining (Jetting Eng)
* Have a CSCS card, Dig & No Dig experience and any other relevant training & certs you can bring with you.
* Be working from one of our equipped jetting vans, you will visit all types of clients; commercial; residential & industrial - across the East and West Midlands region.
* You will carry out unblocks, CCTV surveys and repairs of drainage systems, assess pipe & site conditions, analyse results to allow for quotation, as well as jetting and vacuum tanker work.
As a Drainage Technician you will:
* Ensure compliance with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
* Ensure Company policies are always adhered to
* Ensure all site related incidents are reported as per our company process
* Identify and react swiftly to resolve all problems before they escalate
* Responsible for safe & effective jetting work as well as CCTV works completed on site in line with client requirements and safety regulations
* Loading & unloading of vehicles, ensuring all equipment and materials required for the job are on board
* Identify any Confined space entry of drainage chambers and other situations that occur and understand the correct regulations.
* Establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues with early resolution of any potential problems with both customers, clients and colleagues
About you:
* Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
* Have an interest and a passion for finding solutions to problems
* Be practical, a hands-on-keen to get involved approach & a willingness to learn
* Enjoys the outdoors – drainage engineers work in all conditions
