As a GP SurgeryReceptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You willbe responsible for providing a professional, efficient, and courteous receptionservice, both in person and over the phone, while ensuring patientconfidentiality at all times.
Main duties of the job
* Greet and assist patients and visitors in afriendly and helpful manner.
* Answer and manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately.
* Schedule and manage patient appointments using our electronic booking systemwhich is Emis
* Handle patient enquiries and provide information about services.
* Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure the waiting area is welcoming and tidy.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
* Coordinate with medical staff and other team members to ensure smoothoperations.
About us
This role is for The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre. We have 3 sites and over 60 staff members.
Job responsibilities
