Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer: Carry out reactive maintenance & repairs of all production machinery, industrial processing equipment, site services & utilities Dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, rollers, belts, drives Follow PPM schedules, continuous improvement projects Electrical - PLC fault finding, repair & wiring control panels, switches, sensors, contactors Mechanical - fabrication, fitting, welding, manual machining to make parts/repairs Knowledge, skills & experience need to be a maintenance engineer: Open to either electrical or mechanical biased maintenance engineers Apprenticeship trained Qualified - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in engineering Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment Team player and positive character Worked on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drives Electrical biased skills - PLC fault finding, wiring / repairs control panels, sensors, switches Mechanical biased skills - fabrication, fitting, welding, machining - milling, turning, grinding, lathes "To apply please email your CV / resume to [ ]". - Chris Gumm - (phone number removed) If you do not get a response back on your application within 24-48 hours, please presume you are unsuccessful.
