What difference will you make?
As Chair you will be helping over 1000 young people gain Skills for Life by supporting volunteers to deliver a fantastic programme, while having a laugh, making new friends, and learning new skills themselves.
Trustees play a key part in Scouts, and keep an eye on our vision. They make sure young people have the best experience at Scouts, and check things are being done safely and legally.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience Chairing and leading a board from professional carer or on other charities.
We are looking for individuals who can support the organisation for a minimum of 3 years and have several years of experience on other trustee boards

What will you be doing?
We're looking for someone with strong leadership and experience in good governance to lead our Board of Trustees.
Together, Trustees make sure the charity is well managed, their support helps other volunteers run a fantastic programme that gives young people skills for life (and experiences they'll remember forever).
The board meets once a month for 2-3 hours for 8 months of the year, take part in an annual away weekend plus an Annual General Meeting.
