Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an established Sustainability professional to deliver on a major public sector contract.
The client is a major government customer with an extensive national estate of offices and corporate facilities. The employer aims to provide services across Engineering, Cleaning, and Sustainability to ensure the client's estate is well maintained.
You will work within a team matrix structure, navigating key stakeholder relationships, including customer contacts, contractors, and the wider account team.
This is a great opportunity for a Sustainability professional to develop experience on one of the largest Sustainability FM UK contracts.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading the delivery of sustainability services as per the contract
* Developing and driving the Sustainability Management Plan, monitoring progress, and ensuring reporting
* Growing and engaging with employee champions network
* Setting environmental objectives and targets
* Establishing governance framework and engaging with senior stakeholders
* Embedding digital approaches to CSR and sustainability reporting
* Validating carbon data for reporting and seeking external certification
* Building the Sustainability Management System with the Operations Performance Sustainability team
* Designing reporting and assurance processes around sustainability
* Developing site environmental risk and priorities with the Operations Performance team
Requirements from you:
* Relevant sustainability experience and knowledge of ISO standards
* Experience working in a complex matrix team structure
