Facilities: They offer wide, varied surgical and medical caseloads which are supported by laparoscopy and endoscopy equipment, digital radiography, and CT. Team members include certificate holders in cardiology, surgery/orthopaedics, dentistry, and internal medicine. Through their teaching associations with the University of Nottingham Vet School, you will have opportunities to work alongside leading surgeons and clinicians. Situated in the rural East Midlands, this is a pleasant market town with excellent road and rail connections, good schools, and a wealth of leisure activities on its doorstep.
Team : The best part of joining them is their fantastic practice team, made up of 8 vets, including certificate holders in cardiology, surgery/orthopaedics, internal medicine, and dentistry, 1 graduate vet, 10 registered veterinary nurses including 3 night registered veterinary nurses and advanced certificate holders, 2 student nurses, 3 hospital assistants supported by 12 customer care staff.
Role : Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join their fantastic team! Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a first-class, first-opinion veterinary service supported by their experienced, fully qualified nursing and clinical teams.

Hours: The role is permanent and full-time working 40-hours per week, across 4-5 days. However, they are in the fortunate position of being able to accommodate part-time depending on your requirements.
Duties:
1. Consults are offered 7 days per week and the post-holder will participate in an on-call rota for in-patients only, with support from their permanent Night RVN team, one night per week and 1:5 weekends (Fri- Sun, with time off in lieu).
2. VetsNow provides all other OOH cover.
3. The weekend consists of Saturday 8:30 am-5 pm and Sunday 8 am-12 pm and is a mixture of consults, inpatient checks, and emergencies. This gives their vets and patients the benefit of continuity of care without the need to transfer to another site
Support : CPD is encouraged and provided in order to maintain their delivery of the most up-to-date animal care, within a practice that fully encourages and supports your development
Salary : Up to £70,000 p/a DOE plus benefits
