About The Audit Public Sector Team: Forvis Mazars offers a world-class audit experience with deep knowledge of the Public sector. You will be part of a team that provides distinctive audit and advisory services to central government bodies, local government bodies including councils, police and fire services, and NHS Trusts and Integrated Commissioning Boards.

About The Role: As a graduate trainee you will undertake a three-year training contract. Year 1 focuses on building auditing fundamentals; Years 2 and 3 involve more complex audit work and taking ownership of engagements. You join as a permanent employee.
Year 1
* Master the art of auditing: develop audit documents using latest software and methodologies.
* Financial statements: understand balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
* Work with clients: operate directly with diverse companies to understand their operations and challenges.
* Build relationships: engage with clients and internal teams to gather information and collaborate across service lines.
Years 2 and 3
* Take on increasingly complex audit work (e.g., revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments).
* Take ownership of engagements and mentor junior team members.
* Role concludes with a permanent position and ongoing career development.

* On track or have obtained an undergraduate degree; strong academics, with consideration for holistic experiences.
* Curious and eager to learn; able to think critically and solve problems.
